TARGETING THE CLIENTS OF AGENTS
How the ?wealth creators? come in through the back door.
Our real estate agency has been approached by a company wishing to hold a seminar for our clients on 'Wealth Creation'.
They have informed me that there is no charge for attendance and clients who decide to proceed further would then need to buy a kit.
They said the talks were aimed at basic methods of saving, debt reduction etc. and were not designed to push material down their throats.
The presenter is a young man called Adam .... (can't recall surname). Thought this may be of some benefit to clients, but very worried about another 'Henry Kaye' scheme and don't want to subject clients to scams.
Have you any information about this company or these people ?

This sounds like Adam Hudson, a former partner of Henry Kaye's.
It sends a shiver through me to think that he may be approaching agents to gain access to clients. You should not have anything to do with him or anyone who approaches you with an offer for your clients.
So-called 'Wealth Creation' or investment companies often seek access to clients of agents. It is merely a back-door method of getting to consumers.
One of the worst cases I recall was when a First National office (Frank Facey Real Estate) promoted an investment seminar and a lady who attended the seminar ended up losing more than a hundred thousand dollars of her superannuation money. When I wrote to the Chairman of First National and asked for an explanation and whether or not they offered some form of compensation, all I got was a threatening letter from their lawyers.
Real estate agents should stick to selling real estate and should never be involved with any outside companies who want to target their clients.
